What is central Italy often depends whom you ask. Italian State Administrations in Rome classify Liguria and Emilia Romagna as Northern Italy. If you ask any other northerns they don't. Even in Rovigo; the south of Veneto: well you really thought of as 'the south of the north ...'
In this blog article, I use Tuscany (Toscane) as the key central region and all regions bordering Toscane are then included into Central Italy. With six regions, we have enough for this article.
This blog article includes following regions: Liguria, Emilia Romagna, Toscane, Le Marche, Umbria and Lazio with extra focus on Rome.
